Separation-Related Behavior Problems

Separation anxiety is rough, the  solution doesn’t have to be.

I personally have lived with dogs that are dealing with separation- related behavior problems and understand first hand how Separation anxiety can be challenging for both dogs and their guardians. Being unable to leave your dog alone means you both experience frustration and stress, and it can feel isolating to plan your entire life around your dog’s needs. Your dog may be exhibiting some of the big signs of separation anxiety, excessively barking when alone, destroying your home, frantic attempts to escape or having accidents in your home, or some of the less obvious signs of SRBP, licking, panting, hiding, pacing, salivating & drooling.

Our Method

Is a systematic desensitization and it is considered the gold standard treatment for separation related behaviors in dogs. In other words, we gradually expose your dog to home alone time without fear, in incremental steps working at your dogs pace. And once we have some time accumulated, we then slowly start layering  real life scenarios, that might be bit uncomfortable

Please know that working with Separation Anxiety is a very intensive commitment for everyone involved. I can only accept a limited number of clients at one time. If I cannot take your case I will refer you to another Separation Anxiety Specialist who can help.
